Steel types are getting affected by poison

I thought steel types were immune to poison attacks including the status effect ''poison''.
But my excadrill got affected by haunter's venomous ability see ?

well dialga is immune to the status problem 'poison' so should be excadrill.

May be there is no immunity from abilities

i think it's because of Haunters abilities, venomous, i don't know if it should be fixed or not, there can be a vote whether status' from abilities should be banned or not

status' from abilities are already banned like i said dialga is immune to poison but for some reason poison effects caused by abilities are still there , they should be fixed.
