The released Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) brought with it an updated Source 2 engine, redesigned physics, dynamic smoke grenades and other technological innovations. What do you think of these changes? Are the game mechanics improved compared to CS:GO?

The future of CS2 promises even more innovations. Valve has already shown that it is ready to develop the game by adding new mechanics, improving balance and optimizing gameplay. This means that not only seasonal updates, but also possibly new modes, maps, and even mechanics that have never been seen before in the series.

I see it's been a while since this was posted, but I just want to ask if anyone’s been playing CS2 more lately and noticed any improvements in performance or matchmaking? I’ve heard mixed things about the tick rate changes, and was wondering how it’s been feeling for everyone compared to CS:GO. Also, are skins carrying over smoothly for you all without any weird bugs?
I’ve had the same weird rubber banding issues lately, especially after the last patch. Lowering the shader detail helped a bit, but not fully. Also, for anyone who’s into trading or just customizing their loadouts, I found a cool place to get cheap cs skins without spending too much. Makes trying out different styles way more fun while playing.
