Hello, fellow citizens of PokemonPets. So, Dark.Zero has decided to host an awesome tournament, but he wants to know what would be fairer to all players, old and new. Choose!
1. Tiers.
By choosing tiers. New players would be able to fight old players commons vs commons, but old players would probably have level 100s
2. Level Restrictions
By choosing level restrictions, you can use everything from starters to ultra rare pokemon, but you cannot have anything above level 50. (old players would probably all have level 50 teams vs level 20-40 teams)

Tiers means that we make up these tiers.
To define it, we do a simple example.
Tier I :
Max lvl 20
No ultra rares, no legis, no megas, no shinies etc.
Tier II
No lvl restriction.
No Class restriction.
But i can see how that is unfair to new players.
I see how that is unfair to old players.
i mean, afterall that allows every kind of player to have a fair tournament in their respective skill range.
Totally not suited for tournaments.

I prefer the tiers idea ,
a good idea for tiers might be :
Tier 0: upto 20 - only if u joined within last 2 months - no weapons , no shiny allowed
Tier 1: upto Lvl 50 no shinies ( legends may be if u can find wild one at a 50)
tier 2: upto lvl 100 shiny, legendaries and mega allowed ( no shiny-L , mega-L . shine-mega or Shiny-mega-L )
tier 3: lvl 100 only , all allowed
this will give chance to all , and prizes can be kept accordingly

E-X-A-C-T-L-Y what i had in mind.
These tiers could furthermore be more specialized depending on what exactly newbies etc. have.
Also that allows moderate rewards.
Example.
tier 0 reward common - ultra rare
tier 1 reward legi
tier 2 reward mega
tier 3 reward shiny mega
Note : those are EXAMPLES, on how it could be handled or rewarded.

Well, both can be fair depending on the"settings".
What I mean is:
Who can play on the tiers
The pokemon levels allowed
Etc
