Recently I tried to set up streaming from iPhone to Chromecast to watch TV series on the big screen. Everything connected quickly, but I had to tinker with the apps, as not all of them worked right away. In the end, I seemed to have fixed everything, but I noticed that sometimes the image “lags”. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

I also recently encountered this problem, and it didn't work right away. The problem was with Wi-Fi - I have two ranges at home, 2.4 and 5 GHz, and for some reason Chromecast first connected to the slower one. After switching, everything became perfect. By the way, for ease of setup, you can look at this guide: app to airplay to firestick. It helped me choose the right app and gave general setup tips.

I rarely use Chromecast with my iPhone, but for viewing photos it works just fine. Never had any issues with lag or freezing. I think it depends on your internet speed and the model of your device. If streaming services are glitching, maybe it's the router settings themselves?
