Logistics problems when transporting sports equipment
#1
What logistical problems might arise?  Has anyone experienced delays or difficulties transporting such equipment? I need to transport several exercise machines from one gym to another, which are approximately 400 kilometers apart. I read that there are often problems with a lack of transportation and overloaded warehouses nowadays.  How does one find a carrier for such large cargo?

How far do you need to transport the cargo? Have you checked whether trucks can normally access both gyms? I ran into this problem when I was transporting two elliptical trainers and a bench press station. The old gym was in a business center with a narrow passageway. I had to wait until morning so the driver could get there when the passage was clear. I booked the transport through GetTransport. In general, the service works well. However, the loading date had to be changed slightly because no trucks were available on my preferred date. This was also mentioned on their blog: https://blog.gettransport.com/trends-in-...solutions/  Did you read the information there? They explicitly state that a lack of transportation and overloading are common problems. Based on my experience, I advise booking a car as early as possible. I booked five days in advance. Discuss all the details with the dispatcher in advance, such as weight, dimensions. There are no trifles in such matters.
