I was having an elo battle and the shiny-mega kyogre was spamming water spout. But given the hp of that kyogre was reduced, the base power of the move should have reduced. But that didn't happen. This has happened several times with me. And It has cost me the match as well. I have taken screenshot of the situation.

Yes me
what is the rpoblem exactly
move base power always stays 150 , once it got 149. 9 something
the move actually should have base power 75 when the pokemon hp is 50% so actually the move power depends on pokemons hp but it is not depending on hp
it is directly 150 power move
move description : Water Spout inflicts more damage when the user's HP is higher.
At full HP its base power is 150 and it decreases in proportion - i.e.
the power is: 150 × CurrentHP ÷ MaxHP.
The user spouts water to damage opposing Pokémon
example: pokemon max hp 300 , current hp 150
so base power = 150 X 150/300 = 150X 1/2 = 75 but base power stays 150 and doesnt change

That definitely sounds frustrating. You’re right — Water Spout’s power is supposed to scale with the user’s current HP, so if the shiny-mega Kyogre had taken damage, the move should have been weaker. If it kept hitting at full power despite reduced HP, it could be a bug or maybe a visual glitch not updating the HP correctly.
Since you’ve taken a screenshot, I’d recommend reporting it to the battle sim/mod team. Include the replay link or screenshot so they can investigate. Hopefully, it gets resolved soon!

That definitely sounds frustrating, especially in an elo match.
You're right — Water Spout is an HP-dependent move, and its power should decrease as the user’s HP drops. If the Kyogre had significantly reduced HP and it was still doing max damage, that could indicate a bug in the damage calculation or a display issue.
If you’ve taken a screenshot, it might be worth sharing it with the devs or reporting it in the bug section (if you haven’t already). They might be able to check the battle log and see what’s going on behind the scenes.
Also, just to rule it out — do you remember if the Kyogre had Recover, Leftovers, or something like a healing effect between turns that might have kept its HP high between moves?
Hope they fix it soon — that kind of glitch can really throw a close match.
