A few pokemon depend on moves that hit a multiple of times and their effectiveness is based on these moves hitting a high number of times. Some of these pokes are mega heracross, cinccino, cloyster. The one that's affected the most is heracross since it had depend on skill link for it moves. Without it, its pretty useless.

If no new ability will be added give the pokes who rely on skill link atk boost to compensate the lost. *Trollers feel free to atk this one
