I am a Jamaican and I have been wanting to get US residency for a very long time, like most people. The salaries are higher, the conditions are better, and so on, it is understandable. I also read information about the opportunity to work in the hospitality industry. I was wondering if I should even apply for this visa or do I have no chance? Is there anyone here from Jamaica who has applied for an EB-3 visa and successfully obtained residency? Do Americans treat Jamaicans normally?

I have been living and working in the United States for two years now, having received residency on an EB-3 visa, and I am from Jamaica. In fact, Jamaicans are very appreciated here because we have strong English skills, which is vital in guest-facing jobs, especially in the hospitality industry, and they also like that we are always friendly. I am currently helping my brother with this visa and came across an article about the EB-3 Visa for Jamaicans . In general, I advise you to apply now, because you will have to wait a long time, and don't worry about the attitude of Americans towards Jamaicans at all, there is no problem with this at all.
