I'd rather have the shinies keep the original color and perhaps change their position, that makes it more fun.

No need, different colours is what makes a pokemon shiny. Also I saw Aladdin's thread and he also posted same pokemon Eevee. If you 3 are working together then make a grand thread with all shinnies instead of 2-3 different ones.
This what you should do:
- Aladdin covers from pokedex = X to X
- Zach covers from X to X
- Myst covers from X to X
~ Effective and quicker
