I usually do video capture with third-party programs if I need to save the content playing on the screen. Perhaps more experienced programmers will ask me and tell me more? Is it efficient to capture video from a web camera using c#?

I think it's not only more efficient, it's more secure for both you and the customer. This query solution provides additional data encryption. I like using C# capture video from web camera with VisioForge for this very reason. They have a Video Encryption SDK plugin that makes the output into encrypted video files, meaning only those with a password will have access. Without it, it will be impossible to view the previously captured video.
