My dad and I don’t agree on much, but somehow we can always talk about football—even if it’s just arguing about which team is better. Watching matches together has been our thing since I was a kid. Anyone else find that football is kind of like a language between generations?

That’s so true. Football is one of the few things that gets passed down in families, and everyone has their own stories. There’s an article on SempreMilan about how the club’s traditions unite fans of all ages— https://sempremilan.com/allegri-fabregas...coach-soon. My granddad still tells stories about players I’ve never even seen, and it’s hilarious to hear his take on today’s matches. Whether you’re ten or seventy, cheering for the same club just connects you in a way that nothing else really does.

Football really is one of those things that doesn’t get old. I’ve seen three generations from the same family in the stands, all losing their minds over the same goal. It’s kind of special.
