So, long story short, I accidentally deleted a bunch of WhatsApp messages thinking they were backed up, and now I'm kind of desperate to get them back. I'm talking about chats that were important, including some photos and work-related stuff. I’ve tried going through Google Drive and local backups, but no luck so far.
I came across this tool called GByte WhatsApp Recovery and I'm wondering if anyone here has tried it or something similar. I don’t usually trust third-party recovery software, but at this point, I’m willing to try just about anything if there’s a decent chance it’ll work.
Would love to hear your experience—did you get your messages back? Did it recover media too? Also open to other suggestions if you know a method that’s worked for you.
