Are Virtual Spaces the Future of Experiential Marketing?
#1
Just got out of a digital event where I could walk around in a virtual mall and actually interact with products in 3D. It was like playing a game but with real stuff. Way different from scrolling through a website. Makes me wonder, is this the direction all brands are heading? Will we even care about regular ads in a couple of years? I’m curious what you guys think—are virtual spaces really the next big thing?

Honestly, after trying some of these interactive virtual spaces, it feels like brands can do way more to get your attention than with old-school ads. I remember going to a digital music festival with branded merch booths, and you could even try on clothes with your avatar. It didn’t feel pushy, just kind of fun. If you want to see what’s possible or where this might be going, there’s a good overview of https://digitalresidency.com/connecting-...rtunities/. It’s interesting to see how it’s not just a trend, but something more brands are investing in.

It’s kind of wild how far these virtual worlds have come in just a couple years. I remember when 3D chat rooms were all blocky and weird. Now you can pretty much attend a whole concert or go shopping without leaving your couch.
