So I’ve been working on an indie album for the past year and now that it's finally finished, I really want to release it on cassette. I know it's kind of niche but I’ve always loved the analog vibe and honestly, tapes just feel more personal than digital. I’ve been poking around online for cassette duplication services and came across Microforum. Their stuff looks solid but I haven’t seen many reviews or posts about them here.
Has anyone used them before? Or just gone through the cassette duplication process in general? I’m curious what to look out for, what kind of turnaround times are normal, and how the quality usually holds up. Would love to hear about any recommendations or horror stories, just trying to avoid rookie mistakes.
Thanks in advance, and if you've got tapes of your own feel free to drop pics or links. I'd love to check them out.
