have you been training your pokemon ev up to 100. There is a easy way to train your ev. 
these stuff will help you.

but there a limit
Since this Pokémon's sum of EV reached the maximum limit 510, item usage failed                                   or


Since this Pokémon gained 100 (attack, defense, hp, special attack, speed, and special defense EV )(Effort Values) via using (protein,iron,hp up,Zinc Calcium, and Carbos) item, it can not use this item anymore and gain more EV points!
