Finding the right influencer
#1
I want to start working with influencers, but I’m realizing there are way more categories than I expected. Between creators, niche experts, lifestyle influencers, and big names, I’m not sure who’s actually a good fit for my brand. Is there a guide or resource that explains all the types clearly?

I used to think influencers were just people with big followings, but there’s actually way more variety than that. There are niche experts, lifestyle bloggers, content creators, and even everyday people with small but super engaged communities. Each type can work differently depending on your brand and goals. For example, if you’re trying to build brand awareness fast, a macro-influencer might help. But if you want to boost trust and conversions in a specific niche, a micro- or nano-influencer might be better. I found a really solid breakdown that explains the different types of social media influencers, and it helped me understand which ones align best with what I needed. It covers pros, cons, and how each one typically performs. I’d definitely give it a read before jumping into any partnerships — it saved me from wasting time and budget.

  1. Really appreciate the recommendation! I had no idea there were that many types of influencers and it’s been kind of overwhelming trying to sort it all out. This sounds like just the kind of resource I’ve been needing. I’m going to give it a read today and start narrowing down who to reach out to.
